Where and when were you founded?
ARLO SKYE was founded in 2015 in New York City.
What is the brand all about?
Stargazing. Pondering. Daydreaming. Getting lost in the clouds is essential to finding game-changing ideas. And where better to daydream than on an inspiring journey? That's why we started ARLO SKYE - a travel brand for daydreamers.
Where does the name ARLO SKYE come from?
Arlo is a novel written in 1915 by Ernest and Bertha Cobb. It's about a boy, Arlo, who decides to follow his daydreams. He leaves home to explore the world and comes back enriched. We added Skye because we just love getting lost in the clouds.
Where are your products made?
Our Carry-On is assembled at a family owned workshop in China. They have practiced the craft of alloy engineering for the last 15 years. Our parts are sourced from Italy, Japan, Taiwan and China.
Why anodized aluminum-magnesium alloy?
We believe aesthetics are integral to usefulness. That’s why we engineered our Carry-On from a novel, lightweight, anodized aluminum-magnesium alloy. It’s elegant, sophisticated, and 2.3 times stronger than commonly available polycarbonate plastic cases.

What is your design philosophy?
We started our journey with one question: What does it take to create something meaningful? The answer can be distilled to one word: simplicity. Every detail is purposeful, yet restrained. It leaves room for the users' self expression.

What are the Carry-On dimensions?
We measure head to toe - including wheels and handles. These dimensions are the max allowable Carry-On size for major US Airlines including American, United and Delta airlines.
What is your warranty policy?
Luggage: We offer a 5-year warranty on any manufacturing defects related to parts and workmanship. Scratches, nicks and dents due to normal wear and tear are not covered under our warranty.
Portable charger: We offer a 2-year warranty on any manufacturing defects related to parts and workmanship. We will be offering upgrades to the charger over time.
How should I care for my ARLO SKYE Carry-On?
The ARLO SKYE Carry-On is made from a lightweight, anodized aluminum-magnesium alloy. Use a damp sponge to wipe away dust and dirt. Avoid cleaning agents with abrasives.
Over time your Carry-On will acquire scratches and nicks. These marks will give your case an individual appearance and do not affect the strength and functionality of your case. Please avoid checking-in or gate-checking your Carry-On. Careful handling during your trip is essential.
Do you offer a repair service?
Yes. Please reach out to us at email@example.com Please share some visuals of what you would like repaired. We’ll let you know the repair fees upfront and pre-arrange all your shipping logistics.
What countries do you ship to?
We can ship globally via FedEx. Our international shipping fees include import, VAT and duties.
What is your shipping policy?
We offer free FedEx ground shipping and returns on all orders delivered to a continental US address.
FedEx Ground shipping to Alaska and Hawaii: $25
International destination charges are applied at checkout.
FedEx unfortunately does not deliver to P.O. Box addresses.
How soon will my ARLO SKYE purchase arrive?
Your package will ship out of our Rhode Island warehouse within 1 business day from when you place your order online. Depending on your location, it takes 1 to 7 business days for your order to arrive.
Our logistics team takes time off on weekends and national holidays, so orders placed on those days will be shipped the following business day.
What is your 21 day return policy about?
We want you to love every single ARLO SKYE purchase, so we make returns free and as easy as possible. You have 21 days from the date of delivery to try out your new Carry-On. Hit the road. Take to the skies. Sail the seas. If you’re still having commitment issues after that we’ll give you a full refund and, for US delivery addresses only, cover the return shipping.
Please ensure that bags are returned in their original packaging with all accessories as this is required to process a refund.
How can I cancel my order?
As long as it has not yet shipped, we can cancel your order—just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. However, we try to send orders along quickly, so it is not always possible to cancel your order. Shipping and returns are free, and we will make it simple and easy to make sure you get exactly what you want.
When can I expect my refund?
After your item is received and checked, your refund will be processed and a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Depending on your credit card company, it may take an additional 2-10 business days after your credit is applied to post to your account. We will keep you informed of when we receive and process your return. Of course, please feel free to call if you have any questions.
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes, but only on unused bags and within the 21 days starting from the day it is delivered by FedEx. Please email us at email@example.com.
Why are you priced at a fraction of other luxury luggage brands?
We bypass traditional retail stores that take hefty margins. Instead, we sell our Carry-On directly online and pass the savings onto you. Our vertically-integrated approach means we control both the quality and service, from our workshops to your doorstep.
Do you ever have discounts?
We do not discount or offer promotions on ARLO SKYE products.
