We combined an impact-resistant polycarbonate shell with an aluminum frame to take durability to the next level. The top corners are reinforced with aluminum caps. The result? A suitcase so strong that it can double as an on-the-go seat at a crowded airport gate.
We replaced the outer zipper with an aluminum frame and two integrated clasp locks. Each clasp lock allows you to set your own personal three digit combination code. These locks are TSA-compliant and certified by Travel Sentry.
All suitcases have an anti-microbial lining infused with natural silver fibers to neutralize odor-causing bacteria and prevent germ growth.
The integrated, airline-compliant charger is removable with one click. The charger has blazing-fast USB C and USB A ports with PD technology allowing you to charge your phone to half-way in under 30 minutes.

I am a road warrior and travel weekly so having the perfect carry-on is essential. I love this frame carry on max and is provides the strength of an aluminum case with the benefit of not being quite as heavy as a full aluminum case. It’s spacious and works well but when comparing my my prior cases I have 2 suggestions:
1) a handle on the side of the case between the two locks would greatly improve maneuverability in and out of trunks, onto TSA conveyors etc.
2) the left hand zippered side of the interior cannot be packed to the closure edge because of the way the zip closure is installed (about 1/4 inch below the case edge) making it not possible to put bulkier shoes, toiletry cases etc on that side. It would be great if the zip closure was brought to the edge of the case.

Don’t usually leave reviews but continue to be so happy with this luggage I wanted to share my experience. I’ve had this for about 3 years but bought it during the pandemic so have only been using for about two. I fly about 30 times a year and Frame Carry-On Max has been on close to 50 flights with me. Never have had an issue fitting it in overhead and I also check it a decent amount so it has seen a good amount of abuse. It’s held up well, only noticeable wear is cosmetic. Wheels roll very well, handle is as good as any I have had and the two latch system is infinitely better than any closing mechanism I have had previously. This is my first hard case, previously I have been using Tumi and Patagonia soft sided rollers. Max size has been perfect size. Not too big to bring for 1-2 night trips, perfect for 3 and you can stretch it to 4, potentially 5 night trips or longer if you are a light packer. I have been through a lot of luggage and I am particular when it comes to bags, usually find something to pick on. Not this one. I love it. After having it for a year I bought the Frame Med Check-In for a 10 day trip to Japan where it was dragged all over the place, up and down stairs, trains, planes all over. It was perfect size for that length trip and has held up as well as the carry on over 5 extended trips. Very happy with my AS purchases, really well made and well thought out. Picking more out for the rest of the family.

After trying a few high-end suit cases, I’m very pleased with this piece. I wanted best of of both, aluminum frame (no zippers) and polycarbonate (lighter weight) AND in a larger carry on size. I’ve taken a flights now cross country (3-4 days) and have been very happy with it.
