"Not only does the Arlo Skye Expanded Carry-on Max hold an impressive amount of travel gear, it's also loaded with pockets to stay organized. There's a zip compartment on the front of the bag with dedicated space for a laptop up to 16 inches and spots for a wallet, charging cords, or travel documents. The front pocket takes away some of the suitcase's interior capacity, but the suitcase expands an extra 2 inches to make up for lost space. A removable compression pad also helps push down on clothing if you want to squish more inside the bag, but we didn't need it for a three-day trip.
One caveat: This suitcase may be too large to be a carry-on for smaller domestic planes or some international carriers, so make sure to check your specific airline's size requirements. Despite its larger size, it's still easy to maneuver. We loved its smooth wheels, which rolled across hard and carpeted floors, around corners, and up and down curbs easily. We do wish the telescopic handle offered the same ease—it felt a bit flimsy at its two lowest heights. Otherwise, it was durable enough to resist major dents or damage after we repeatedly dropped it on the floor and hit it with a bat. We noticed a few minor scuffs at the base of the bag, but even those were barely noticeable.

"Arlo Skye's zipper-front carry-on has gone on many trips with senior features editor Megan Spurrell—Peru, upstate New York, and Montauk, to name a few.
