We used an aircraft grade aluminum alloy, sourced from the USA, to design our most durable and secure case. The shell, wraparound frame, top corner caps, and hinges are all made from hard-coat anodized aluminum alloys.
The top and side handles are wrapped in full-grain leather. Each piece is hand stitched and edge-painted by 3rd generation leather artisans.
We replaced the outer zipper with an aluminum frame and two integrated clasp locks. Each clasp lock allows you to set your own personal three digit combination code. These locks are TSA-compliant and certified by Travel Sentry.
All suitcases have an anti-microbial lining infused with natural silver fibers to neutralize odor-causing bacteria and prevent germ growth.
The integrated, airline-compliant charger is removable with one click. The charger has blazing-fast USB C and USB A ports with PD technology allowing you to charge your phone to half-way in under 30 minutes.
Our 360° spinner wheels are 15% quieter than standard polyurethane options used by mass market brands. They're meant to be rolled—not heard.

I have been wanting this Frame Carry-On since I started getting Arlo Skye emails. Fortunately I took advantage of a Spring Sale Event recently and was able to make a purchase my Frame Carry-On Aluminum Edition. I love it. I purchased The Frame aluminum carry-on in 2016 and have used it for every trip since - at least a dozen per year. I added the The Frame checked bag in 2019 and have had an excellent experience with both. My husband purchased both pieces in black as well. Locks, wheels, zippers, etc. all function like new on all four pieces. The aluminum carry ons have a few small dents from rough handling but nothing extensive. My favorite feature is how quiet the wheels are and the fact that they don't stick or get wonky.
