What makes Arlo Skye different from other luggage brands?

Arlo Skye was founded by former Louis Vuitton and TUMI execs who spent a collective 23 years working on luxury products and travel goods. Every product is designed in New York with the same attention to materials and detail you would expect from a luxury house, but sold directly to you at a fraction of the price.

Our luggage uses German Makrolon polycarbonate shells, ultra-quiet Japanese Hinomoto ball-bearing swivel wheels (50mm diameter for carry-ons, 60mm diameter for checked luggage for superior maneuverability), antimicrobial lined interiors that eliminate odors, and a simple yet effective X-strap compression system. We pioneered the first ejectable power bank system in a carry-on and introduced a top-load trunk design that opens like a top-load washer for easier packing, less strain, and takes up 50% less footprint.

Which bags fit in the overhead bin, and which need to be checked?

Cabin approved: Carry-On Max and Carry-On Max with Front Pocket

Airline carry-on rules usually start with 22 x 14 x 9 inches. We start with the airport.

For over 10 years, we have tested our carry-ons in real sizers, overhead bins, and aircraft cabins to find the extra usable space most spec sheets miss. The Carry-On Max and Carry-On Max with Front Pocket are built around that real-world fit, giving you more packing room without the usual gate-side anxiety.

One note: basic-economy fares, packed flights, and very small aircraft can still require gate-checking any carry-on. If you fly those often, check your airline's fare and aircraft rules before you go.

Check-in approved: Check-In Medium, Check-In Large, and Top-Load Trunk Large

Our checked bags are built for the cargo hold, with the three airline rules that actually matter in mind: size, weight, and batteries.

Size: Most airlines use 62 linear inches as the oversize limit. The Check-In Medium stays comfortably under it. The Check-In Large and Top-Load Trunk Large are built right up to the line for maximum packing space without oversize fees.

Weight: Keep your checked bag under 50 lb to avoid overweight charges.

Batteries: Power banks, spare lithium batteries, and vapes should never be packed inside checked luggage. Keep them in your carry-on, where airline safety rules require them.

What is Arlo Skye's warranty on luggage?

Arlo Skye luggage is backed by a 5-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in parts and workmanship for the original owner.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic wear such as scratches, dents, scuffs, or stains that occur during normal use, nor damage caused by intentional abuse.

If your luggage is damaged by an airline, file a claim directly with the airline first, then contact us. We are happy to send you a replacement part or repair your bag. We don't make a profit on any repairs or parts — we just want to keep you traveling with your Arlo Skye.

For minor repairs like locks, handles, and wheels on polycarbonate cases, we ship replacement parts with step-by-step instructions at no charge.

If your luggage needs to come in for service at one of our repair centers in Florida or New York, parts and labor are free. A $20 flat shipping fee applies for round-trip transit — we subsidize the remainder of the shipping cost. Turnaround is typically 1–5 business days once received.

The warranty applies to purchases made through arloskye.com and authorized retailers only. Products purchased on secondary marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, or Etsy are not covered. For full details visit arloskye.com/pages/warranty.

Free ground shipping on all orders within the 48 contiguous United States. No minimum purchase required.

Orders ship from our Rhode Island warehouse within 1–2 business days via FedEx or UPS.

Estimated delivery times: Northeast 1–2 business days, Southeast and Central US 2–3 business days, West Coast 4–5 business days.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes or military APO/FPO addresses.

Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico shipping is available at rates calculated at checkout; free ground shipping does not apply to these locations.

International shipping is available to Canada, Western Europe, Dubai, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore. Fees including customs duties are displayed at checkout.

What is Arlo Skye's return policy?

Free returns on all orders shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Unused items in original condition and packaging can be returned within 90 days of fulfillment at no cost.

To start a return, visit our Returns Portal, enter your order number and zip code, and the system will generate a prepaid UPS shipping label. Affix the label to the original carton and drop it off at any UPS Ship Center within 3 calendar days.

We do not offer automatic exchanges — return your item and place a new order for a different color or size. Items exchanged for the same product become final sale.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–5 business days of receiving and inspecting the return, with an additional 2–3 business days for the credit to appear on your statement.

Missing original packaging? A $40 restocking fee will apply.

Items that cannot be returned include used items, personalized or monogrammed products, orders of 8 or more units, gift cards, clearance or final sale items, and orders shipped outside the USA.
