This suitcase is awesome! It’s just as functional as it is cool to look at. It’s definitely my favorite suitcase I own!
I never got my suitcase due to some FedEx mess-up (I live in a high-theft area and have a sign posted, “Do not deliver without signature,” but they did anyway). I was messaging Arlo Skye from day one to let them know about the delivery challenges, when I would be home to accept delivery, alternate delivery addresses, my travel plans, the last day I could accept the suitcase without having to buy one locally, etc., and NEVER have I experienced better customer service every step of the way. The person handling my case was ON IT. While I’m bummed to be traveling without my most wanted suitcase, I will certainly be purchasing one for the next time I travel based on the excellent service I received. As for FedEx, well, that’s another story.
Bag is beautiful and functional. It has a lot of interior space and pack in a organized way. Bag closes easily and wheels are perfect. This bag is a pleasure to travel with.
As a creative individual I was drawn to the piece. I wanted something extremely functional for travel, unique, durable but a fashion statement. My Alro Skye Check-in is all that and more. My Aruba trip was the test and it passed with flying colors. Oh did I mention customer service was AMAZING! They assisted me with custom laser personalization on the front of my bag. I received so many compliments and I made sure to take time to share company info and the previous industry story of the owners. I love everything from my coordinating shoe and laundry bags to the many compartments. Extremely well made and I can’t wait to grab a carry-on.
This suitcase has a vibrant color and I was excited about the front pocket. Rolls well and feels quality. I learned a few things after a few travels with the bag. The shell is not as stiff as the suitcases without the front pocket (which I was ok with). My slight con is that the front zipper has to be opened all the way to easily put something in or take something out. I’m used to soft cases where I could partially open the front zip and slide my hands in to place an item or take out an item. Not the case with this bag. After partially opening the front t pocket I could barely stick my hand In due to the stiffness of the suitcase. Small quibble, but I appreciate quickly unzipping the front pocket with one hand and easily sliding items in and out with soft cases. pocket Overall I would still recommend.
