It is certainly nice having a surface I can place my iPad on and it doesn’t slide. I have plenty of room along side the iPad for a notebook. The inside storage holds the iPad along with a few small books, ect.

I use the lap desk for a few hours almost every day and it works just great. After cervical spinal fusion surgery, I don't have the same mobility in terms of looking up or down. The lap desk allows me to get reading materials and my iPad up to level I need in order to not be looking down too much. An enhancement I'd welcome would be to be able to add more "stuffing" to the cushion to allow me to raise its level another inch or so.
