Every single detail on this bag is impeccable - such good quality and it’s really spacious for my chihuahua mix! He’s at most 13lbs and he can still sit and poke his head out as well as lay in all sorts of ways. No regrets on this investment for my boy :)
We love our Arlo Skye carrier. I initially bought the medium which is quite large for my Malshi puppy (7 pounds). She loves the memory foam . The ventilation is great. I just purchased the smaller carrier as well, due to the airlines strict size requirements. The quality of these carriers is excellent, and knowing that my dog is comfortable during our flight is a must.
Love, love, love this bag! As does my dachshund Lola. The gold accents give this bag such a luxury touch. I ordered a medium and added a small dog bed for extra comfort. The best part about this carrier is the sleeve on the side of the bag to allow the carrier to stay on top of a roller suitcase to avoid the bag slipping off during a brisk walk. Additionally, the medium bag fits perfectly under the seat on a commercial flight. Such a great investment. So happy Lola is traveling in style!
The carrier is well-made, attractive and appears comfortable for our beloved morkie. Having just traveled recently, I do wish the top of the bag was made of the mesh material used on the carrier’s sides... We check on him constantly, and it would have been reassuring to see him more easily during the period of time he was required to be under the seat during our flight... Perhaps a consideration for future product designs.
I ordered a few different carriers before our first trip with our 7 pound Yorkie. Arlo Skye's version is much nicer and better constructed than the rest. It should be - it was almost 5-6x more expensive! I looked into some higher end bags too but didn't really like the designs as much. Beautiful bag, mesh was breathable for our pup, handles, zippers, memory foam, all the details were thought out and high quality. A very understated design but I feel like I'll end up using it for many years instead of getting sick of a trendier design.
